A Honeywell Sensepoint Remote Flammable Gas Detector RFD is an RFG. High-throughput remote sensing of volatile gases.e. Honeywell’s Sensepoint XCD RFD (Remote Flammable Detector) uses the remote sensor to measure flammable gases in Zone 1 Hazard Division 1. It is an integrated gas detector. The RFD is designed for extreme conditions such as remote sensor mounting, which requires the use of Honeywell’s powerful XCD controller and a remote-mounted catalytic bead sensor. It is explosion proof, easy to maintain, and provides non-intrusive calibration with 3-color status LEDs and smart diagnostics for industrial use.     • Remote Sensor Mounting. For difficult areas, the sensor head can be positioned up to 15 meters away from transmitter/controller. This is an excellent option.
